Ashley joined VOCEL as People & Culture Manager in January 2026. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a master’s degree from Northwestern University in music performance. With six years of experience in the nonprofit sector, she has progressively taken on management responsibilities in human resources, operations, and administrative support, helping teams and programs thrive.

Ashley is committed to advancing organizational missions by supporting employees and fostering inclusive, equitable workplaces. She is especially passionate about building equity in communities by empowering youth and families with the tools they need to succeed over time.

Her background in music performance informs a creative and collaborative approach to her work, grounded in listening, adaptability, and thoughtful engagement. Ashley values environments that nurture growth, curiosity, and confidence at every stage.

Outside of work, Ashley volunteers as a tutor and enjoys making music, exploring the city, cooking and trying new foods, spending time outdoors, and connecting with loved ones.
